Within the first week of May, ASUS announced the “Zenvolution” event, which is taking place the day before COMPUTEX at Humble House Taipei. There has been a lot of speculation as to what the Zenvolution will entail, but after a teaser was released on May 17th, many consumers are assuming that variants of the ZenFone 3 will be announced during this live-streamed press conference. It is also very possible that the products that are discussed at Zenvolution will then be showcased at COMPUTEX 2016 to attendees who visit ASUS’ exhibitors booth.

It looks like there might be some design upgrades for the assumed ZenFone 3 —

Not all of us can just buy a ticket to Taiwan to go see this press release and/or go to COMPUTEX to see the reveals for ourselves. But we got the next best thing for you: Zenvolution will be broadcasted live on Monday, May 30th at 2:00pm CST for your viewing pleasure, so you can join thousands of people who are eager to hear about the new products in store for 2016, straight from ASUS! Enjoy it from the comfort of your home or on the go, and be prepared for this incredible Zenvolution.

  1. I have the Zenfone 2, having upgraded from the HTC M9. I’d love the next version of Zenfone to work better with T-Mobile network in the USA. It has some real 4G connection issues which T-Mobile tells me is because of the radio and dual SIM feature.

I’d like to see the device be about 1/4 inch smaller on all sides and have a flat back. Yes, smaller. So it can be used with one hand. Usability would go way up with those two changes. The curved back is beautiful but if it’s on a desk and you’re trying to touch controls, the rocking back and forth make it difficult to use.

I’d like to see a better camera—something on par with Samsung or Apple’s cameras.

I’d like to have the ability to text message on the 2nd SIM card.

I’d like better battery life. I can’t get through a full business day on a charge.

Finally, I’d like to see a the next generation ASUS phone have better support. The “ASUS Support” app and online website based FAQ are too light and don’t address many issues.

    • I totally agree with the above comments. We love our Zen 2 phones but completely dislike not being able to use the data feature on SIM 2. Changing SIM cards overseas between SIM 1 and SIM 2 slots is irritating because of the required setup involved.

      • Fully agree with him. Either sim shd be made available for data connection. Volte is must. Tmobile network must run smoothly in voice/data, finger print sensor and 4000mah battery
